Design step 4 was the longest step of the project because it had so many different parts. We had to run experiments for our design, and create blueprints and 3D models for our prototype.

This design step was really long. The experiments took about a week, and the 3D modelling and blueprints took a few weeks to complete. Something we could have improved on would be planning the experiments better. Our procedures were great, but we did not think about the logistics and cleaning up of our experiments. Originally we were using motor oil, but after the first test we realized that it was a bad idea because it is so hard to clean and must be properly disposed of. Because of this we soon switched to vegetable oil. Dividing up the work of this step is something we did really well. Since there was so much to do in this step we split up a lot of the work. We each did one lab writeup. Also during this step I learned how to use Autodesk Fusion 360 really well because of making the 3D models and blueprints.
